FORT WORTH, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University table tennis team took both the coed and women's team titles at the NCTTA Texas Division Tournament.
The Rams topped squads from UT-Dallas, University of Texas, North Texas, and Texas A&M. UTD finished second in both the coed and women's team events.
In men's singles, the trio of
Emil Santos,
Zhe Feng, and
Jason Plog went 1-2-3 and earned automatic qualifications for the Regional Tournament.
In women's singles, Texas Wesleyan's
Anastasia Rybka took the individual title. UTD's Lin Hong was second, and Texas Wesleyan's
Caroline Kajihara was third.
Texas Wesleyan will host the NCTTA South Region Tournament on Saturday, February 21.
