FORT WORTH, TX: The Texas Wesleyan University Men's Cross Country team placed second in the Ram Ramble at Gateway Park on Saturday.
 
The weather was close to perfect this morning as the Rams and four other teams that made up a field of 34 took to the 5K course at Gateway Park.
 
Isaac Lalang picked up his second win of the season with a time of 15:20, which is Texas Wesleyan 5K record. Oraine Wint crossed the line in third with a time of 15:31. Nathan Garcia placed tenth with a time of 16:36, while Brandon Goolsby notched a time of 16:59 in 15th place.
 
Tal Thomas turned in a time of 17:10 for 18th, Michael Vega ran a time of 18:18 for 24th, and Mackenzie Jameson crossed the line at the 18:22 mark in 25th place.
 
Texas A&M Commerce took the top spot with 24 points, while Jarvis Christian, Science & Arts (OK), and Paul Quinn finished behind the Rams respectively.

The Rams will run in the Ken Garland Invitational hosted by the University of North Texas on Saturday, September 27.
