FORT WORTH, TX: The NAIA has released the pairings for the first and second rounds of the 61st Annual NAIA Men’s Golf National Championships. The event will take place at Creekside Golf Club in Salem, OR, May 22-25.
First round action will tee off on May 27 at 7 a.m. PDT. The Rams are in the third group to tee off at 8:40 a.m. Texas Wesleyan is scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. tee time in Wednesday’s second round. Live scoring of each round can be found at

The 159-player field is made up of 20 automatic qualifying schools, eight team at-large selections, a host berth, and 14 individual qualifiers.
The third ranked Rams qualified after winning their ninth consecutive Red River Athletic Conference Championship. Nine teams, including Texas Wesleyan, that placed in the top-10 at last year’s tournament return to the field.
This season, Texas Wesleyan produced three wins including the RRAC title and a victory at the NAIA Preview Invitational which was played at Creekside in October. In ten events, the Rams have taken eight top-five finishes.
Texas Wesleyan is making its 51st appearance in the NAIA National Championship. The team has never missed the cut at the event and has finished outside of the top-10 on only three occasions. Their six national titles are the second most by any one institution, while their nine runner-up finishes are a record.
