HOUSTON, TX:  The Texas Wesleyan University women’s track team competed in the University of Houston’s Leonard Hilton Indoor Invitational on Friday.
 
The Rams opened the season running the DMR unattached at Texas A&M University’s Reveille Invitational in December.  On Friday, Ana Segovia, J’Lesa Hutchinson, Lauri Gutierrez, and Jessica Davis knocked 1.81 seconds off their time at 13:13.01 to finish fifth.
 
Gutierrez notched the Lady Rams’ best individual result running the 800m in 2:40.08 to finish 16th.  In the mile run, Segovia finished 20th (5:25.62), Davis 24th (5:33.66), and Aguayo 28th (5:43.10).
