Lady Rams Set to Face #1 Scorpions on Think Pink Day

FORT WORTH, TX:  Fans at the Sid Richardson Center will be treated to outstanding college volleyball and an opportunity to join Texas Wesleyan University in the fight against breast cancer on Friday night.  The Lady Rams will take on the number one team in the nation, UT-Brownsville, at 7:00 p.m.

The Lady Rams will be wearing pink jerseys which will be sold at a silent auction during the match.  Auction winners will be announced between the second and third sets.  As part of breast cancer awareness month, proceeds will go to the Side-Out Foundation’s Dig Pink Program.  Donations can also be made by clicking here.

The Lady Rams enter Friday’s match with an overall record of 9-11 and a 2-1 mark in Red River Athletic Conference play.  The Scorpions, who have been rated number one in each of the last six NAIA Coaches’ Polls, are a perfect 18-0 overall and 4-0 in conference play.  UTB is riding a 40-game RRAC winning streak that dates all the way back to November 7, 2008.
